Yeah.

I paid too much, but I was tired of looking. Because of it's condition, I'm not going to feel the least bit guilty of having the stock finished in very non-polish manner.

This polish blond is going red!

Got the stock today and it's beautiful. Forget what I said about powder coating the butt stock; it's staying as is.

Once I have the hand guard changed out, I'll post plenty of pictures in this thread.

I'm glad you're pleased.  Did you find the DVD with the "inprogress" pictures?  I don't normally do that any more but this one was so challenging that I thought it would be a good idea.

CD is in hand, but I haven't had time to look at it.

This weekend I'll swapout the handguard; this particular sks handguard has one hell of a pin in the ferrul. The damn thing broke my pin pusher. I'm going to have to drill then punch it out.

Just to give you hint of what it's going to look like; Romanian SKS w/ perfect blueing, Black Albanian bolt carrier, & Polish Honor Guard stock w/ your red stock stain and polished butt plate.
