Well the problem with that is they wouldnt have time to "go nuclear". If we invaded they would be overthrown in a matter of weeks, probably not enough time to build even a dirty crude nuclear bomb. My mistake, still China has about 3-4 HUNDRED MILLION troops, and can easily pull more out of it's population with a draft if they needed to. Despite us American's being tough, and stubborn they would simply overrun us with pure numbers. A small fraction of it's Military Power could run over America within weeks. America isnt prepared for such a war against so much numbers at home or abroad. Our best bet for victory is to get them when they are trying to pass the sea with our Navy and Airforce working together, otherwise victory is slim once they reach the mainland. I would fight them, but their numbers cannot be ignored and I fear America cannot win a war against that since we would simply be overrun by those numbers. We would run out of Ammunition killing them, they would be all over the place like maggots. On an average street where a squad of 10 men would be they would have nearly a hundred enemies possibly more to deal with. A battalion of 20 tanks would have to take on a hundred enemy tanks. China simply has more people. Then you got the Militia's, big deal, they are American Patriots but there is probably less than a Million of em.

China or another Country would never invade the US. It would be purely a nuclear type war.
We would be doomed for the most part. Those of us with extensive underground shelter which we could live in for up to a year could survive. I would be doomed....
Iran has told the US that if they invade then they "Iran" will go nuclear.

Incase your wondering I'm not upset with what you wrote.  I just don't want people to get the wrong idea about me.

First off, shut up.  Why even post if you aren't going to say anything?  Now that I've got that off my chest, China will not become the dominant super power.  There are limits to china's current growth.  Anyone who has taken the most basic level economics class in high school can see this.  There are a lot of problems with china's current economic system.  Ridiculous amounts of unemployment, growing disparities in income levels, a health system that is in shambles, waning energy sources, an unstable financial system, corruption, and environmental deterioration.  All of these combined, acting on each other spell out one thing.  The People's Republic of China will not be changing into a super power anytime soon.  That is, unless dramatic changes are made.

Oh yea, I forgot to add... They may have the largest standing army but also the PRC's military spending, approximately $56 billion, is ranked third after the United States (over $400 billion for the 2005-2006 fiscal year) and Russia.

You keep gathering weapons, ammo, food, supplies, whatever you may need off the enemy and use that against them. Soon enough you'll get stronger while they get weaker. YOU NEVER GIVE UP!!!

Bwahahahah ,  invade China?  Even if in the wildest dreams of psycotic generals would it happen without some serious prep work of population reduction before hand.

For another thing, how are they not going to have time when it would take at least  months maybe years to build up a force large enough to attempt to move on China, its not like you can keep that secret or anything.  You do know China is nuclear capable right now right?

We have not employed an overwhelming assault anywhere without owning the air since the middle of WW2 , the air battle of China alone would last years.

Frankly, the idea of invasion from either, on either is pure fantasy.  It may be more plausible that we meet on some contested ground, possiblely Taiwan, but even then I have doubts that we would have boots on the ground there, it would be a standoff fight from start to finish.


Also dont underestimate special forces of any country.  Just becasue they are not glorified, doesnt mean they are not a threat.
