As they say nothing is really new.
I'm sure somewhere on the webz this has been done numerous times.
However I have never seen it.
I used a CAA single point sling for this conversion.
I acquired a pair of quick connects used on webbing that work together with the quick connects found on the CAA single point sling.
Also used heavy multi strand black thread which I think is called floss and a heavy needle.
Also a single sling swivel of the fast connect type that came from BlackHawk Ind.
A short piece of the same width black webbing used on the CAA Sling was found in a box of misc. webbing I had.
The pic below is of the CAA sling before alteration and the area circled in red is where I started.

The pic below shows the male end of the quick connect threaded thru with the misc. webbing I had on hand and the
TAG end then sewed in place where the green circle is.

Next I took the female end of the clip and another short piece of webbing and a Fast Connect Sling Swivel. Threaded the webbing thru the clip and the sling swivel as shown and sewed the tag end where circled in green.

Below is a pic of the firearm with the CAA sling in single point mode and the female end of the clip already attached to the front for a quick hookup.
The area circled in Blue is where the quick connect will be disconnected and attached to the front sling mount
Once connected to the front mount you have this (pic below) with the remaining and original to the CAA sling
Female end left to hang.

Now you can simply connect that remaining Female end to the Male end which was the first thing done in this conversion. Not needed but cleans up the whole act plus gets it out of the way.

The double point sling has a large adjustment to it that allows many different ways to carry as well as switching back to the original single point design.
Difficulty level is very low on this project as was the cost.
The worst part was keeping the heavy needle from entering my fat fingers.

A few added options to carry that make the weapon much more stable then the Single point by itself.
At least for me anyway.
