I usually don't post in this section; but this dream I had was TOTALLY relevant to this part of the forum and EXTREMELY realistic.
There was a huge flood in the US which wiped out most production. The family and I hung out at the house for awhile until food started drying up everywhere. Eventually citizen authority groups began to emerge in the absence of local police. Unfortunately they were mostly corrupt and began taking advantage of the populace, demanding homeage of food and other goods.
We gathered together with a few friends and family. At some point large groups of men were banding together and moving from state to state looking for work. Even in my dream it reminded me of the Grapes of Wrath.
The last part of the dream, right before I woke up, was me saying goodbye to the wife and kids as I was headed to the next state to do farmwork. It was REALLY sad!
There wasn't mass anarchy or disorder, just a really graphic dream about how life would be after something catostrophic took away most of the neccessities in life. Really hit home.
Strange, huh? Aside from keeping track with current events I don't put a huge amount of time or thought into this kind of stuff. This came from NOWHERE....
Just thought I would share.
