Good answers but what I'm really looking for is how can/do you avoid being forced to leave when 10 or more armed invaders (Blackwater,fema NG types)knock on your door and inform you MUST leave and have ten minutes to get a small bag of personal items or you will be taken by force.

So what is the best way to avoid a forced evacuation? 

Everything is a maybe. You living in a apartment building in LA or NYC. The guy in the unit next to you is a nutcase making bombs the good guys come around to evac the place, what do you do? Stay in your apartment with two toddlers and the twins or di di mau?

In an urban situation you do not have many choices unless you are "The Omega Man" or "I am Legend". Now in '68 10 armed invaders (biker types) showed up at my Grandpa's farm house and he told them to move on. A farm house down the road was empty because the snowbirds had gone south and no one knew the bikers lived there for three months and trashed the place until the couple returned from FL.

I've had to go house to house and tell people they SHOULD leave and why, never made them leave. Normally you tell someone the guy next door is drunk and running around with a bomb (and they know he is a demo expert) they leave rather quickly.
If you want to hang out for Katrina and ride your house down the road, have at it. If you're there afterwards I'll drop off some water and MREs. Maybe.
