So, they say if you put lipstick on a pig, it's still a pig, right? Well, I decided to challenge that statement!
I sent my original butt-ugly WASR-10 stock wood to Galahad to have it refinished in more of a Russian Red appearance. The cost was surprisingly low (I probably would have spent more buying all the necessary chemicals) and Galahad was great about communicating with me, and worked very quickly! At the end of the day, I absolutely could not be happier with his work! Any future wood-work is definitely being sent his way!

There is a bit of a crack in the upper hand-gaurd... long story short I was a LITTLE too excited when the wood came in, and a bit too rough putting it on... and snapped the upper hand-guard in half. I realized I could attach it to the gas tube in two pieces just fine, but slapped some wood glue on anyway:
She might still be a pig... but she's damned beautiful!!!
