New addition to the cabinet -- Saiga 7.62X39
« on: October 28, 2011, 05:08:54 PM »
Deer Season opens in 2 weeks, going to zero the scope this weekend.  I am hoping it's pretty accurate at 100 yrds.  :)

I love the smell of gunpowder in the morning.

Nice set up.  It will be plenty accurate to a hundred yards and then some.  It will be even more accurate if you decide to swap the trigger out.  The stock trigger is pretty bad IMO.

And, if you want to drop about $200 more on it, you can do this:

Mine is an Arsenal conversion, and 100% 922(r) compliant with import steel mags.   8)

Most guys over on Saiga12 found out the barrel was already threaded when they removed the shroud in front of the sight.
