The gent was happy; he just has trouble with 100 yards. He should have been getting results similar to those at 50 yards.
The trigger is likely to blame.
I'll share out info on how to build the two-stage triggers, but as I note, I won't assume the friggin' liability to build them.
Properly done, the two-stage Mosin trigger is far and away better than the Mauser's two-stage trigger. Buttery smoooooth first stage with a 1911-crisp let-off on the second stage.
