I just noticed yesterday at the range that the safety spring on my Norinco SKS was broken, as the safety lever was loose and hanging during my range session.  I posted my problem in the Chinese section of this website last night in this thread:

It was recommended to me that I might want to check with you here regarding replacement work if I didn't feel comfortable doing it myself.  I'd rather have an SKS expert do the work, rather than a local gunsmith if I can't do it myself.  You seem like an expert in these matters from what I can see.  If you were to fix my safety, would I need to buy the replacement part first before sending my trigger group to you? How much might this job cost?

I've never had a problem with my Norinco's trigger pull, but I understand that you have a great reputation with maximizing the effectiveness of factory trigger group function.  I'm not sure if mine needs a "tune-up", but may be interested if you would look at it and give me your opinion on the matter, along with the safety spring fix.

Thank you very much for your response in advance.

I have no safety springs at the moment.
Last time I looked, I found none for sale...

Thank you for your response.

I am going to keep looking for a safety spring; and if I can procure one, I'll keep you in mind for its installation and a possible trigger tune-up.

Take care, and hope to speak with you soon.

I have obtained a new safety spring, and would like to start fresh with my Norinco, by sending my trigger group along with my new sefety spring to you for your famous tune up.  Half of my old safety spring is still attached within the trigger group, but the forked side is off and separate to be discarded.

Is your service still the regular price for switching out my old safety spring for the new one along with the tune up? Also, do you take personal checks? It didn't appear that you do from your order form page.  Please let me know, as this is the way I am most comfortable paying.  I am ready to send my items to you in the mail as soon as possible.

Thank you very much.

Actually, since my last post here I figured out how to install the safety spring myself, using a YouTube video that explained how to disassemble and reassemble my trigger group.  The weather is getting nice here in Michigan now, so I don't think I want to be without my trigger group for a while anymore.  Maybe I'll send it out to you for the trigger job later on this year--closer to winter!

 :)

Thank you very much.

Cool...

I see a lot of them bent and trigger levers bent from improper installation...
I use the 3/32 punch as a slave on the left side and drive the pin from the right side. The slave allows you to depress the spring and drive the pin without damage...
