Two SKSs arrived from Century yesterday.

248922: Only the magazine and trigger guard match the receiver serial. No idea why the duplicate serial number.  This rifle has stock issues; one small crack on the left side and one big 6"+ crack on the right side. I don't really care about the metal condition, but I will be talking to Century about these cracks. I think this  goes a bit beyond "cracked stock".

3222940 is in very good condition except for the rough stock. Its completely matching including the stock, although they left one of the 2s out of the stock serial.

These are all of the top rifle (1956).

Out of the 5 rifles my dealer received, three were 2,406,xxx , one was a 2,413,xxx and than the one I bought.

Another local shop got five in also , all were 3.0 - 3.1 mils. Two rifles were obvious reblued with Albanian Beech two hole stocks

The top cover, bolt and bolt handle match each other, SN 19071. The trigger guard and mag match each other, SN 226317. The /26\ was struck very lightly and I couldn't find it at first. Receiver SN is 3229752. My camara sucks at close ups but here are the pictures:

Decided to pick another one up from a local dealer.

3,225,663
Matching numbers except for rear sight, been reblued and put in a Albanian two hole beech stock. Probably an Albanian refurbed rifle.

Howie thanks for taking on this project. Here are the serial numbers from the two I purchased from J&G. The rifles are still at my ffl dealer for the 10 day dros so when I get them ill edit this post with pics of the guns and the receivers.

This morning I posted a thread on Cal-Guns with the link here for participation. Thanks again KK

Picked mine up yesterday.  Very nice condition with a lot of bluing.  There was a little rust in places under the wood but not bad at all.  All matching numbers except the stock that I can tell and has a fair amount of trench art.  Bore is perfect and should be a nice shooter.

I thought I might post these here also so others can use them for reference. This is the J&G Sales SKS I received. Hand Select NON-Matching numbers. Serial 227339   /26\  The bolt  matches the receiver serial as does the Gas tube. The rear cover 3367468 (sorry for the poor picture) and Bolt Carrier do not match.
