Folks I think we can say it's already happened and we didn't even know it.

In my opinion we are effectively no longer the United States of America, just in name only now. 
So pretty much all this talk of prepping and getting ready...  it has already happened and we missed it.

I just want to say when I said we missed it, I didn't mean it like 'oh darn, I wanted to see that and we missed it'...  What I am saying is they took our country from us while we were watching and we let them do it.

History shows this is the natural progression all empires/republics follow and once they reach this point there is no turning back.  The only possible hope is 2014, but it has to be the most dramatic voter turn out in the history of this country- and I don't think that is going to happen.

I guess people can still 'prep' for a natural disaster (which everyone really should have a couple weeks supplies for floods and events like that) or an ELE or martins (said with tongue firmly implanted in cheek!) or things like that, but anyone prepping for the fall of the USA.... it already happened.  Oh we'll still be here, just like I've said in other threads look at Rome.  It was the greatest empire in the world and corruption and greed caused it to fall, but it is still around.  It's just not an empire anymore.

Obama did what he promised to do... to fundamentally change the USA.

Ill tell you what is sad. It's sad that We the People ever let our country get this screwed up in the first place. We have no one to blame but our selves. Every time the government imposed something on us. We swallowed it and bitched about it, but never did anything about it. I really and truly don't believe this is anything like what our fore fathers would have done. I honestly believe they would have been shooting by now. Now this is just my opinion  mind you. But I think Americans have become lazy. If we keep traveling down the same road we are taking now. America will be lost and the enemy will have won without firing one single shot.

Don't put the blame on Obama, blame the Repubs and Dems both, they both have sold you down the river equally.  IMO, our only hope was last election and he was buried by his own party.  The republicans have no chance of winning in 2014 either no matter how much they try to pander to females and minorities, the dems have a lock for the forseeable future.  Think about it, the republicans just lost the easiest election in 50 years, the economy was/is in the ****ter, most people disliked "Obamacare", there was no budget during the first four years of his presidency, unemployment at 8-9%, crappy market, highest gas prices ever etc, etc, etc.  And the republicans STILL managed to loose in a not even close election.  Explain to me how they think they can win against Hillary in 2014?  She will run away with it UNLESS Bengazi takes her out of the running.  Even if that does happen, there are plenty of dems to take her place, say hi to Prez Crazy Unlce Joe.

I have always blamed both parties, however I feel Obama has accelerated the whole mess.

If you are right though, and the Democrates take complete control of the House and Senate in 2014 then expect to lose your gun rights that year.  Oh the 2nd Amendment will still technically exist, but they will enact so many bans and regulations that you effectively won't be able to own anything.  And if they win in 2014, I can't see anything stopping them in the 2016 Presidential election... hell Obama could run again and get re-elected I bet!  Not that I am saying he would, I am saying the mindset of the people would go for it.

E Plebnista- that's all the Constitution will mean by the time our kids and grandkids have reached our age... just a memory that only a few really understand the meaning of.  Most of the time I think we've already hit that point too.

Both parties are to blame. And if by chance the house is regained by the libs in 2014, we will all pay the price. If those who say they are patriots stand by and let the government strip them of their rights. Then they are no different then the left or the right. I really don't see this country making it to the 2014 elections, unless law is changed where Obama could run for the white house again. His agenda wouldn't be complete, and him and his cronies certainly wouldn't want America making a turn around. It's time people stop thinking the elected officials are going to save them. It's time that the people pull up their big boy pants and start thinking for themselves.
