Great trigger job Kivaari!!
« on: November 30, 2013, 09:38:40 AM »
I have a '51 Tula that has one of the very first SGWorks bullpup kits installed. When I was shooting the Tula in the original stock I never really noticed the problems with the trigger. Since installing the bullpup kit the trigger was noticeably worse in that it seemed to magnify the existing problems. Too much creep, unpredictable break, and it sometimes failed to reset for the next trigger pull. I was getting frustrated. The gun just wasn't fun to shoot after installing the new bullpup kit. I love the bullpup kit but didn't like the tradeoff.

I decided to send the trigger out to Kivaari and hoped that he could improve the shoot-ability again. What I got back was nothing short of incredible. The creep is gone and it has a clean, consistent break that put the fun back in my bullpup. I put it in my nephews hands and let him try it. He squeezed off about 5 rounds, turned around and grinned from ear to ear and just said "Oh yeah!". Then he continued to empty the 20 round mag...lol

Thanks Kivaari! That's some great work you do!! It's hard to put a price on that kind of fun...

I have to agree, I bought an old beat up Chinese SKS that was missing stock parts and a badly cracked stock for my bull-pup, before I even started the build I sent 2 groups in for his magic touch. The bull-pup with this trigger work is like shooting any other rifle unlike what I have heard about these bull-pup kits. With the red dot I got for it it is just a fun gun to shoot with a little more travel then a normal SKS, but not really noticeable.

Kivarri's trigger work is the best investment anyone can do to their SKS, I have 2 more to send in as soon as I have funds.
