VERY, VERY Late reply . . . I was on CGN viewing a thread about a 'new' folding stock coming out in the USA (taking preorders now) and checked my Tapco-6 stock and my Norinco Frencjh Tickler (1980 - w.o the handguard - I'm lazy) and found Only a slight diff = 2-oz.
Tapco = 0.86-kg / 1#14.4-oz with my Wheeler digital T-gage
Chinese Wood = 0.81-kg / 1#12.4-oz with Wheeler
