http://www.winterrange.com/         Campground is full and Winter Range is in full swing. One of the coolest events weather you are into Cowboy shooting or not.

I may have to go to this one. My wife keeps wanting to go to a "range". Never been to the Ben Avery shooting facility. I can go just down the road for free but she thinks its unsafe or some such. "It's boring" standing out in the desert she says.

http://azgfd.gov/outdoor_recreation/ben_avery.shtml          Come on down! You will experience one of the finest shooting facility's in the country.  Take some time to check out all 1700 acres. World class clay target range and archery ranges that will impress. Your wife will feel comfortable there. You will be impressed how well they run things.

Looks like I'm going to miss this one. Previous engagement but please keep posting events here. Really want to go check this place out before it gets to  :violent3:

If you guys ever wanna meet up half way between Tucson and Phoenix, another option is Casa Grande. There is a road that goes along the a stretch of mountains and there is a long series of ranges and unofficial shooting spots.

I would be down with that. Not familiar with any ranges around Casa Grande but like most of Arizona, there are many places to shoot.

All the shooting clubs will be set up on there specialty ranges competing.  If you ever thought about club/competitive shooting, great way to see what its all about. ALL Ranges will be active! Lot's great folks, great way to spend a day.

                   Got a call from a Snowbird buddy to day that wanted to meet up this afternoon at Ben Avery to do so shoot'en. Arrow shoot'en that is. Caught me a bit off gaurd. We were bullet shoot'en buddies! Seems since he left last year, he's picked up a new addiction. :lol:  The last time and only I shot a bow and arrow was summer camp, 1961?, long time ago. Got to say , it was a blast!  The perfect way to get in a little hiking, shoot'en and talk'en/catch'en up on things.
