Mark Levin's interview with Peter Pry
« on: April 23, 2018, 01:39:18 AM »
Watched part of his interview tonight and its pretty interesting. Mr. Pry is a commissioned director of the EMP threat to the US. We are a disaster waiting to happen. His estimate of a 90 percent die off of US population if the entire grid was to go down for 1 year. There is a maximum of 30 day supply of food for the masses if the grid goes down. Of the 2000 hand build super transformers that run the US power supply, there is only a 2 percent replacement in country stock. South Korea & Germany are the major builders of them today with zero builders in the US. They are not hardened for EMP or even storm power surges. He claims the BO administration completely ignored the commissions reports of hardening the US grid for the 8 years the jerk (BO) was in office. But today they have an active roll in the Trump administration directing improvement policy. They cover a lot of ground in the interviews. Enjoy the house of cards we all live in while its still here....

I watched part of it last night as well.  I think its a little alarmist, but yes could happen.   Of course the likelyhood of a super solar flare happening is the same as one that could obliterate the magnetic field and fry most of us directly, in which case people starving because of lost power is moot.

The threat of an nuclear EMP is real though, and he was exactly right, it doesn't matter if you have one or 1000 warheads, if you can get it into the atmosphere, you are a nuclear power.
Experience is the hardest kind of teacher, it gives the test 1st and the lesson after.

Courage is knowing it may hurt and doing it anyway.
Stupidity is the same.
This is why life is so hard.
