Well guys, unfortunately it looks like I won't be able to make it either. My finances have only marginally improved since moving to Georgia, mostly because I've had to set up a household here and I've kept getting hit with unexpected expenses (driving my car back and forth to Miami twice apparently didn't help either). I finally have things settled to where I can pay off my bills and still eat as long as I don't make any big purchases. I did get the good news that I got extended for another year, but after that it's pretty much terminal. Fortunately, that allows me time to start looking around for something new (hopefully something closer to home. In any case, any major trips or expenses will be limited. I've already purchased tickets to be in Miami for Thanksgiving weekend so I really can't justify going there twice in a row (not to mention that my car wouldn't make it if I tried driving).
Another issue is that though I did bring most of my small stuff to Georgia with me, all my SKS's and such are still in my safe in Miami, which sucks, but I really haven't had time to even find a local range I can use. I'll begin planning for a trip next spring.
