642970 The Mosin Dude, confirmed and a nice gun with sanded stock. I hope the number is still visible.
And 653643 Swede 1894 with non matching bolt, HOWEVER, the bolt is also NVA and numbered 653792 which gives another confirmation as to the first two numbers being year of manufacture. Not that that is up for debate anymore, but when I first posted the idea, I got plenty of hassle.
Now we are at 91 units in the USA.
Keep em coming. As guns pass into new younger hands, and the internet assists us all, we should get a pretty good idea of how many are here.
