Need a Mattress?
« on: September 01, 2023, 01:34:42 PM »
I wouldn't say this is a full-blown rant but were pretty happy with this internet deal. You all know I think well of Mike Lindell and even gave his Offence fund some cash once. I know, I know he's a little whacky but yah gotta hand it to him for being an X druggy. My wife has his pillow and likes it. So watching TV, I see hes peddling a new mattress. This reminds me that the King we have is clearly getting played out since its about 20 years old! Gez how time flies. So the deal is for an OTD of $1,300 you get a King mattress, a Percale sheet set and 2 pillows (not 2.0) The Mattress came 3 days later in a box 25" x 25" about some 40" high. It weighed 130 lbs. How they folded it and rolled it into that could be a vid all on its own. Anyway, been on it for a few nights now and I gotta say, its pretty good sleeping. Very comfortable and a good deal in today's costs. They don't rate the thing but I would say its a medium to soft yet firm down in a couple inches or so. I have lower back problems ever since the 80's and this new mattress has the morning soreness slightly less than the expensive old mattress we had. Wife likes this one as well. Face it, shopping for a new mattress in a store sucks. Lindell makes this a bing bang done deal real easy. The worst part was getting my old mattress in the town dumpster, so it wasn't sticking out of the top of it as requested by the dump woman. Jumping up and down on it got it down good enough tho.....
So if you've procrastinated a tad on this as I have, here's one way out of the jam.  8)

Thanks for the recommendation. I've had my internet-bought, box-delivered mattress for about 4? years now and the thin memory foam top is starting to wear thin, getting down to the box springs below it. So, I swap it around top to bottom every few months. Looking for a replacement. I'll check Lindell's out.

By the way, mine was great for the first three years and relatively inexpensive. Just what I needed at the time.
