No cheap magazines or SKS stuff, just more of the same old tired AR and Glock parts. I guess who ever bought the name didn’t get the molds for the magazines, unless the molds expired.

The only thing I bought from Tapco was 7.62x39 mags and T6 stocks. I probably still have 6 or so in my safe. I wonder if I'm still considered a "distributor"?

Well, remember that back in the day they also started producing U.S. made gas pistons, operating rods and even bolts if I remember correctly.  These made reducing parts counts/building up a receiver much easier to us hobby guys.  Yeah, their SKS mags were the best ones too.  I kind of wished they'd expanded their offerings, like selling the Marcus adapter and making magazines already set up to take them.  That would have taken a lot of work and worry from people having to cut their own mags.  It might have also been good to see them start making other SKS parts.  I know there are some classic automobiles out there that can be built completely from aftermarket parts.  The same can be said for a GLOCK these days.  It would've been nice if the SKS went this way too.

Before that they made and imported a lot of FAL stuff.  At some point they sold and started their own line of parts, sold again and were rolled up into the group who bought Bushmaster and Remington etc.

Most comprehensive information I can find (includes court docs):  https://gununiversity.com/remington-arms-bankruptcy-sale/.

Tapco was sold to Sportsman's Warehouse, Inc.  Hard to know what they will bring back from the old product line.  With the current proliferation of ARs (even I currently have more ARs than ComBlock rifles combined), They may be focusing on AR stuff first.  Or they may never bring the AK & SKS stuff back, as we are certainly past the "glory days" of AK and SKS imports.

I forgot that PSA bought bunch of those companies too.  Be nice to think Storm lake barrels would come back.
