SKS-D question
« on: May 29, 2024, 04:36:36 PM »
Has anyone ever seen an SKS-D with a stock cutout like this? Looks to be cutout for a drum mag, but also looks to be either OEM set up or, at the least, very well done. And FYI, the stamp just reads 'SKS   7.62x39mm  88xxxxx'
Just curious as this is for sale locally for $1000 and was wondering about the stock.

I've never seen it, but I know a shop owner in Hialeah FL that told me he once did that to mount the rifle with a drum which allowed him to sell it quicker (and for more).
I am the one they call Cesar.

I think you may be on to something there . . .
