« on: November 16, 2024, 12:22:46 PM »
OK...I was fortunate enough to find a nice used Norinco Sporter like I was looking for.

I want to upgrade the trigger.  What should I go for?

thanks in advance

Does your sporter rifle say "SKS SPORTER" on the left side with a thumb hole stock and detachable mag, look like this? Need pictures! PAX

There really isn't an upgrade for SKS triggers like one finds for AKs and ARs, etc. Best thing you can do is send the trigger group off to either Kivaari or Murray's to have it tweaked. They can reduce creep and pull weight to give you a crisp clean positive break.
I've always used Kivaari for my trigger work, but Murray's does good work too. They both have sub-sections here in the retail/vendor section. (Retail and Business)

I had Murray do two and Kivaari do one, I'm happy. PAX

Both Kivaari or Murray have forums on this board.  Please check these forums for information on prices and availability.
