« on: November 25, 2024, 07:38:39 PM »
Appreciate all  the help I've beeen offerred on the board. Wondering if anyone makes a synthetick stock specifically for the Norinco SKS Sporter??  I've seen lots os stock offerings but none specifically for the Norinco SKS Sporter that takes AK Mags.

Thanks again in advance for the info.

Sorry to say, but no one ever made one specific for AK mag SKSs. You'd have to modify anything you get that isn't already set up for that style SKS. Be it wood or plastic.

It's not hard to open up the mag-well on a plastic stock and some don't even need it. The issue lies in the desire to maintain the metal mag-well insert. If you can do that and fill in the duckbill area with epoxy resin or, epoxy a block in place, you'd be set up fairly well.

Well, I recall ATI used to make a variant of their Monte Carlo stock for it, but it was pretty rare and looked to me like it was just a modified version of their regular SKS stock.  I only ever saw one and didn't get a chance to look at the insides, but they put some type of panel to cover up the forward part of the magazine well.

But in answer to your question, nobody now makes them as these SKS's are fairly rare.
I am the one they call Cesar.
