Hammer question if I may.
« on: June 16, 2008, 08:31:40 PM »
I notice when I disassemble the weapon (SKS Chinese) on one side of the hammer face it is shinny, I guess when the hammer strikes the FP, see PIC 1, I was just curious as to why it would be shinny on one side instead of the middle where the hammer strikes, see PIC 2. I fired the weapon with just the bolt in place and seems to strike the center and not the side. I have absolutely no issues with my trigger, it works flawlessly, no creeping no anything (knock on wood).

Thank you Sr. for any info that you may have...

Hammer pin and/or hole not square or the lugs machined slightly off on the trigger group itself.
