"Transforming" Yugo
« on: October 03, 2008, 12:51:38 AM »
Reading the laws seems to make my chopped Yugo magically transform with the swich of a magazine

The evil bayonet, grenade launcher (and the muzzle threads), and night sights have been removed, the handguard replaced with a US made cheese grater, and a Tapco gas piston installed.

With a an American detachable mag it is a "U.S. built" evil semi auto, but 922(r) compliant
With the factory fixed mag it's an imported sporting rifle (or at least a copy of one that would be importable)
Hmmm :?

If you don't know, shut yer hole

It looks damn good man! :thumbright: So does the stripper clips still work in that mag? I've never tried it yet with my 30rd but of course i've never really attempted to either! But other than that........Nice work my man!

In this case you're compliant with the "evil detachable", and non-compliant without . . . LOL

Wow, good job, Pflug!  That's definitely nicer than your average Yugo.

I was wondering why the baseball kept getting bigger.  Then it hit me.

Life is too short to take it seriously.
