"   Hi Tom,

I recently had you do a trigger job on my sks and wanted to let you know that i'm very pleased with the job you did. It shoots great and shoots better than my friend's overpriced russian model. In fact he was impressed as well and he'll be sending his trigger assembly to you. I have kept the order form you sent me to pass on to my other friends who own sks's Thanks again for a great job,

Update w/ range report!

Had a busy week, wife just had a baby, and had to spend more time in the hospital than we thought she would, ive been staying there at the hospital with them.  I leave late last night to get fresh cloths and water the plants, check the mail while I was there. What do I find when I check the mail you ask? Nothing buy my trigger fresh from kivaari's magic workshop, (1st mail I ever got at my new house!) I run inside like its christmas morning open my safe and slap the trigger assembly in, and give it a few dry fires just to check it out.  I love this thing, the pull is so much better than when it left. Night and day doesnt even describe it, especialy since when I sent it off some times the hammer wouldnt fall when the trigger was pulled, and when it would trigger pull was long and scratchy. Now ive just gotta figure out how im gonna be able to get some range time in.....hmmmm
You sir are a miracle worker! King of the sks!

Just got a chance to hit the range, and the trigger functioned perfecty. Was shooting wolf, some old gold tiger, and yugo milsurp.  Not a singe dud or failure to fire out of 100+ rounds fired.

Thank you so much!

Congratulations on the baby!

I had the same experience with my trigger. Before I sent it off it had a ton of creep and the pull was inconsistant, sometimes it felt alright and other times it felt like I was going to bend the trigger . I've gone shooting with friends and when they shot my SKS the conversation went something like "... is the safety on?" "No just pull harder." The trigger I got back is "night and day" different from before. The pull was reduced considerably, the creep was almost entirely eliminated, and it's smooth as butter. Very awesome job, his work far exceeded my expectations. So I'm happy as long as the gun still functions which I have no doubt that it will. I've only been able to dry fire it so far.

Thanks, we are enjoying the baby, would however like some more sleep! Glad to hear kivaari got you fixed up. Went to the range with my sks buddies the other day, and let them fire mine, and they are sold in it too. Looks like your gonna be having some more work headed your way tom

Tom,
I just tried out my SKS with the trigger group you modified for me. It's absolutely terrific and completely transforms the rifle. Anyone who hasn't had your mods done is seriously missing out! Nice job, thanks very much and I highly recommend your services.
Best regards,
Chuck Byram

Tom,

I wanted to say thank you for the amazing job you have done to this trigger.  The difference is unparalleled.  My dad and I couldn't believe it was the same gun.  The grouping were much tighter, the break perfectly predictable, and the shear fun of the whole experience went up tremendously.  I actually feel bad for my AR because I just spent a good chunk of money putting new optics and other "barbie accessories" on it, and I never even took it out of the case at the range.  Thanks for a fantastic job!  I'm a fan!

"Tom,
I got the triggers back in and you have done absolutely amazing work!  I know I sound like countless others that have dealt with you, but you have done wonders for my SKS!!!  I can't wait to take it to a vintage match that our local club hosts.  I am taking several of the order forms with me because I know there will be several shooters interested in your service.  I really appreciate you making your work available to all us SKS shooters as it is a major improvement on a great little rifle.
Thanks again and I wish you success.

Hi Tom,

I received my trigger group back from you on Wednesday (about 2 weeks sooner than expected). What a difference. You took a trigger that was both dangerous and had a pull that felt like 10 miles of bad road and returned one that was stable and pulls and breaks every bit as well as my Marlin 336 which is very good. I'm very glad I found you on the SKS survivors board. All of your accolades are well deserved and I would join the ranks of those who gave you the highest recommendation. Please feel free to share this as you deem appropriate.

Thanks again.

I had never seen an SKS when I bought my first one 7 years ago, to kill hogs.
I cleaned that beat to crap Norinco and started field testing it.
The trigger feel like sand was in it and the slack/ creep was never the same twice.
I started searching the web and the reviews of Kivaari's caught my eye.
In blind faith I sent my trigger group to him and in 10 days I had it back.
Wow,
smooth pull and a crisp break.
I can not say enough about his work,
and professionalism.
When I started building my "Bubba" bullpup this last year the first thing I did was send my trigger group to Kivaari.
Same results.
A professional no BS individual.
That's my testimonial.

Thanks, Tom, for a great trigger job! Turnaround was only 3 weeks and Tom was patient and courteous in answering my many questions. Happy with the results. Merry Christmas, all!

I am thrilled with the change in my trigger. Instead of a creepy , hard pulling trigger , I now have a light crisp trigger. This SKS is going to be my primary hunting rifle. I am sending my other triggers soon and can't say enough about the difference. Great job and fast turn around. THANK YOU, Tom.

Three more by Tom for me . . . probably 9 in all over the years.  Probably THE best money spent on any SKS is this trigger job.  It's represent a minimal cost for a fantastic improvement.

Thanks for the fantastic workmanship and just keep on doing what you're doing there.  I appreciate it tremendously.

I am VERY pleased with the reworked fire control group on my Chinese SKS  The trigger now has a perfectly smooth pull.  Tom is a skilled artisan of his trade.  Best money I could have invested in a 60 year old classic. Thanks Tom!

Tom, received the two triggers back 6-19-15. Thanks for speed and outstanding work. Improved triggers 300%if that is possible. We had enjoyable afternoon resetting sights as smooth trigger changed POI. This was great as new groups were sub 2 inches at 100 yds and sub 3 inches at 200 barring our goofs. Amazing difference. Feel free to use this as satisfied customer endorsement if you wish. Again thank you. It was a pleasure to work with you. Regards, Jim Cooper
