In continuation with my
interest obsession with C&R firearms, I purchased a Chinese Type 53 a while back. The stock was truly in deplorable condition. I'd have promptly gotten rid of it were it not a great shooter. Unfortunately, I truly suck with tools, instructions, how-to-guides, and simple rules to follow, and I messed the stock up even further trying to "restore" it.
Fortunately, we have exceptional people such as Mr. Galahad himself, promptly came to the rescue and resurrected my rifle.
To be honest, this rifle ended up costing me a grand total of around $275 including what I paid to buy it and to bring it to the condition you see it now. However, I don't think I'd sell it for even $1,000 now. Talk about attachment to material things

Without further ado, I present to you before & after pics...
Thanks Galahad!
