bone handle cross draw knife
« on: April 07, 2017, 10:17:42 AM »
I made this about 2 years ago, the knife I am presenting is a left handed, bone handle, high tempered  knife made out of a file, beef bone,"Rib" over 12 inch blade. I know this looks crazy but thought at the time I would put myself to the test and see how much detail and time i could put in to it. The sheath is stamped leather to  give it a scale like appearance.
All tools used in this monstrosity: gas-fired forge, hammers, anvil, grinder, ban saw, leather tools, and press
I like to hear what people think?crazy? insane? work of art? lol or just plain evil?
BTW I know this knife is past the legal length, I never carry this and just made it as a trophy,BUT it is fully functional....... :stirpot:
