What's the current Bubba market look like?
« on: April 01, 2023, 07:44:25 PM »
Been out of SKS for a few years and thinking about dipping my toes into a project. If I do it I'd want to start with a miss matched Bubba. No point in starting with anything that could be close to "original." I find Gunchoker isn't an accurate view of the real values of guns. So what is a realistic price for a starting point project SKS?

I find most folks use GB to set their "private party" pricing.  Armslist used to a good place to get stuff.  However, in recent years they started charging $5 to $7 per month to be able to sell there.  Drove most of the "private party" sellers off their board.

My advice is to shop around and be willing to pass on a lot of guns.  When I find a over-priced local seller, I usually just pass.  Not worth driving there and trying to haggle.
