Just heard this on the way to work. Other networks only reporting they were found dead.

Lumped in with the Brown University & Bondi Beach Massacre this makes for some strange days.

The Australian shooting is not so shocking, every western aligned nation that allowed mass Muslim migration has suffered attacks like this, what made that so spectacularly awful was the complete inability to stop it, even police were unwilling to engage them at first, allowing people with hunting rifles, so far as I know, kill indiscriminately for a relatively long period of time.  The bright spot was one man, a Muslim himself, stopped one of them by wrestling the gun away.

The Brown shooting is odd how they have not IDed much less caught the shooter, he either planned and executed it well, or was just lucky to have picked a building with minimal camera surveillance.  Possibly the former since reports of him wearing a grey face mask and all black clothing and used a pistol which he kept when he left reportedly.  Looks like he planned on getting away, and succeeded.

And the Reiner killing was a shock to the elite Hollywood crowd who consider themselves insulated from the crime they are amidst of.  That was not random though, so will be interesting to see who and why.

Every single one of these cases just show why people should be armed, not disarmed, because this is what happens, people wait for response to be saved, find not even their home is safe or have to resort to risk everything attacking armed people, unarmed.

And just to illustrate the insane, Australian gun law just failed as spectacularly as possible, and the 1st thing out of the mouth of the PM is they will institute even more promising to disarm more people.  All the gun laws they put in place still could not stop a mass shooting, which was the justification.

Just a quick search revealed that gun ownership increased 25% since their gun ban was implemented, but despite the claims of the gun control crowd, are licensed and legal or they would not even know.  Further they blame 3D printing, sorry statists, those were not 3D printed rifles.  They also are complaining the gun laws were not fully implemented that there was never a universal gun registry. Outright lies, every state has a gun registry, some are not connected to a federal database, but still exist. Along with confiscation of most semi autos and pump action shotguns, nearly all guns were registered outside of what was banned and confiscated. It was a case of mass compliance.  However, since then people have bought many more guns, still in compliance with registration and legally allowed types.  Predictably the black market gun sales has reportedly thrived as well, yet this attack was not done with banned weapons, and we will see if they actually admit origins of them.

Apparently they had multiple bolt action rifles with them, I guess that would explain how after the guy disarmed the one attacker, he then retreated to the bridge and started shooting again, and in the video you can see yet another rifle on the ground.  Praise for the guy who wrestled rifle away, but too bad he didn't use it to stop the shooter.

Since the Australian government effectively disarmed law abiding citizens the attackers could have used butter knives and kitchen shears and still would have taken a toll. Sounds like it took law enforcement a long time to respond, up to 10 minutes I've heard.

And, once again, the perpetrators were practitioners of the Religion of Peace.

When are these pussified government bureaucrats going to wake up? When the knife is at THEIR throat?

These people have sworn to murder all the Jews and they continually demonstrate their intent to do so.

But the Australian Prime Minister is sure that if they just tighten up the gun regulations a little bit more,,,,

Apparently he thinks he's dealing with the Amish.

Yeah, just been engaged with an Aussie trying to defend their gun laws, it would be laughable if it  wasn't getting people killed.

 The Brown "person of interest" has been released despite reports of them finding pistols in the hotel room. Starting to sound like a clown show.

As far as the Reiner thing, sounds like the son is the prime suspect as of now.

I was reading that the Brown Person Of Interest was found with non-compliant handguns.
So, they just turned him loose and let him go?
Doesn't make sense but then again neither does allowing a couple million people who hate America to come into the country and leech off the taxpayers.

The Brown shooter still unknown and at large 5 days later. Despite multiple, probably hundreds of cameras in the area, still poor video of him.

Rob Reiners son arrested and charged. 

And the left has once again successfully deflected the real issue and turned an Islamic militant attack in the west into a reason for gun control.

Australia may decide that only firearms their "subjects" are allowed to own will be ones modeled after the 1722 Brown Bess flintlock along with a limit of 4 oz of powder and 10 balls per person in possession.

Not really, school (and college) campus security is a joke. With many colleges and schools getting multiple buildings on site, they funnel money into newer buildings and have since columbine, due to this they rarely update older buildings. Every single campus I've been on I've seen numerous flagrant security flaws that would lead to an intruder getting in easily. At once such college I could get in without a pass, no security, no guards, and had almost free access of the building used for a class.

The school property is not the only surveilled areas from what I read, and still poor ID or video tracking of the guy, or so they have let out so far.

Our company had done the steel on a new high school. We were asked to build a platform in a mechanical area and it required us to field measure for accuracy.

My boss and I went to the school carrying a 4' level and a bag with a laser level.

We walked in the front door, which was unlocked, and walked clear thru the school to the mechanical room, got our measurements and packed up to leave.

No one ever asked us who we were, what we were doing or if we even had business being there.

I guess some lessons are hard to teach. Or, maybe, some people are slow learners.

Possible breakthrough in the Brown University shooting.

Law enforcement ID'd a vehicle believed to be involved in both the Brown and the MIT shootings.

It was parked at a storage facility.

Inside one of the units, police found the body of the suspect. Self inflicted.

May have been a Portuguese national.

It's disappointing that Australia, pioneered by convicts, known for its tough soldiers who handed the Japanese their first loss at New Guinea, and held Tobruk in WW2 against Rommel, earning his respect, whose national persona, true or not, established by Crocodile Dundee, became a nation ruled by triggered wussies. But so has America and the rest of the West too, in lesser and greater degrees. I just thought they would take longer to get there than older nations than them to become Woke.
