A really simple cell phone for seniors ???????

Just what it says. NO bells and whistles. Large buttons, phone, phone numbers stored that I call, text, store text, Google maps (for GPS), photo storage, camera, photo and film. Lively "Jitterbug" is crap. I got tired of reading 1-2 star reviews.I would like to press ONE button to answer/hangup. I have 2 phone lines with T-Mobile and their WiFi "black box". They don't have ANYTHING I can use. Help me out guys please. I REALLY HATE AI. It's dumb as s**t. "Artificial", according to Webster means fake, not real. SO, how can it be "intelligent", when it ain't real?

Have you looked at BestBuy? They have a fair sized collection of pre-pay phones that may work. They should come unlocked so you can use them for any network, but you'll have to confirm compatibility with your service provider

Been looking myself...actually saw a flip phone at Patriot Mobile for 85 bucks. Not sure what all it does and doesn't offer.

Welp, there AREN'T any really simple "cell phones". All the push button phones are cheaply made and hard to navigate the options. They require you to "punch" through a bunch of steps to do whatever ... Most don't have video capabilities either. So much for technology. I spent 32.00 and had my 400.00 phone repaired. It wasn't charging. Seemed to be the best option.

Try an iPhone SE, or a used iPhone, and set the display text to a larger size and bold it. I just tried it and it works well, if that is your main concern.

My main concern was all the "bells & whistles" I didn't use and the unwanted "ads". Have played with iPhone. NOT my cup of tea.

You can do the same with an android phone. With both you can strip it down to bare minimum as far as apps and all that. As far as "ads" that would be on apps and browsers, not the phone of carrier themselves

Have you tried the Jitterbug? What did you not like about it? The Jitterbug is as dumb as it gets tech wise. There are better alternatives to the Jitterbug. Tech speaking, it doesn't get any lesser than the Jitterbug. You do have purchasing options where you can avoid cell carrier "Bloat Ware" like Sprint's Nascar and NFL Apps you cant get rid of.

The wife and I each have a S22+ with T-Mobile.
I moved the icons I don't use to another display page.

Is this the list of stuff you want, or don't want? With the T-Mobile home lines adding a line for Cell should be easy.

I have mine "simpled" down with stuff I don't use on another page, My range apps on another page.  Ads come in with Browsers when on the internet.   
One button for phone one to check messages from people or 2 factor log in pages and one button for the camera (it's got  a pretty GOOD camera.   A real magnetic compass swipe in from the right. We used the GPS for the trip to San Antonio gave traffic alerts and speed traps other users posted.
USB cable to computer to transfer pictures. 



Across the bottom are buttons to view all the tabs you might have open or to close all, a button to go to the home screen, and a back button.
Has a built in Wireless charging coil to use something like this instead of USB charging.

Do NOT go to a cellphone "store". 1.) They will charge you a min of $30 just to "touch" a new phone, or even your current phone. 2.) Their markups are through the roof. If you can buy manufacturer direct, you can save big bucks. 3.) There is such thing as "Corporate Solution" cellphones where you can equip the phone as you need. eg. Low data storage, 24 hour battery life, garbage or omitted cameras. It is achievable to get what ever the new fancy Android smart phone, stripped down to cloth seats, roll up windows, and hub caps, and no carrier bloatware for half the price that Sprint/Verizon/T-mobile is charging.
