Darin, a new one I think. NVA 641938 sold on Gun Broker.
https://www.gunbroker.com/Item/854953736

A collector friend of mine and a member here got it.

No "M21" on the receiver?  I always thought that was the mark of an NVA.
Nope. Though there were Chinese M21 Carbines in Nam.

Thanks Steve.  Hope you are doing well.

Received my second North Vietnamese rifle today! #642145 Numbers match on receiver, bolt carrier, magazine and trigger group.  I am not able to find a number on the stock but it share design characteristics as my other North Vietnamese rifle #653669. Can not get my phone to post correct size pictures

Hello. This is my first post. I was hoping to get some insight.
I recently purchased an SKS listed as Russian.

I posted on your other post already, but I need the SN and all important info. I will add all the info you care to give including your purchase price, which I am sure is going to make most of us cry!

Okay. Non matching numbers. Incorrect stock and Bayonet. No sling. It does have the correct front sight base and handguard barrel with no provision for a cleaning rod

Just got this Chinese type 56 SKS with the spiker bayonet about a week ago from Palmetto State Armory.
Heard about this forum while looking through some information on its maintenance and thought I'd add it to the list if it helps.
I'm working on refurbing it, but the serial numbers and other marking should be visible enough.

Writing on the right side:
PW ARMS REDMOND, WA
SKS 7.62x39 CHINA       SER# SKS29864

Writing on the left side:
(a logo made of a triangle with the number 26 placed inside)

I am not collecting Chinese rifle information. Try posting this in the Chinese section or unmodified SKS area.

Thank you for the effort and PICS.

Hi, I believe I have another NVA to add to the list, images attached.  Serial is 654835.  As far as I can tell all the numbers match except on the stock, let me know if I am missing any locations for serial?
