First ak ever!!!

So after 30 years or more talking trash on the ak and how the sks is a superior rifle, i finally bought one... a norinco mak90 with the ati drag queen stock set and some weird b square scope mount that goes around the receiver (soon to be sold). For a $400 adoption fee she's going home tonight. How hard is it to find the thumbhole stocks for it? I know the thumbhole stocks for the sks's are unobtanium, but what about the original thumbhole ak stocks? were the ak stocks serialized like the sks stocks? I know, most people hate the "clinton ban" stocks but i want one for nostalgic reasons...

Congratulations on the MAK-90, I?ve had one for a long time when they were truly $400.00 NIB with all the accessories.

You scored a hell of a deal for $400.00 in todays market. It?s worth at least double that if not more especially if it has good Chinese wood furniture. was that a face to face or from a local shop?

FTF from a coworker but sadly its in a drag queen (polyforce ati) stock... i got one 30 rd flat back and the 5? 10? rd flat back with it too... im still at work, ill play with nit when i get home...

all it says on it is "mak 90 sporter" and has the star with norinco in it... no import marks or importer marks anywhere...
