The Last of My Paratroopers
« on: September 09, 2025, 12:41:02 AM »
Hi Guys,

Long time no post. After moving 17 SKS rifles since 2021-2022, the dupes, mis-matched mongrel dogs and parts builds, also a Romy and 2 Albys, these are the Paratroopers I've decide to hold on to. They're all in great shape, not run much or NIB. The 2 in poly are K-Sport knock off clones, Parka Para and Stealth Para. My apologies if I posted these before but I can't find it if I did. PAX

You're doing better than I am, I only have one left and it's up for sale.

That's a nice set!  I like them all, but I especially dig the third one up from the bottom.

The Last Paratrooper sounds like a movie I'd watch  :)

It is a great movie....in my head :?
That little guy is set up kinda unique and rare. It's a very scarce KSI Hunter in wood, without the nowhere rail and inletting for it in the stock. That rifle also has importer or dealer installed NSTAR brake and CAPCO recoil pad option with the bayo slot filled in. The setup is the way it came, except I added the Romy sling (they look too boss). The fella in front of me bought it new and said he ordered it like that, only put one mag though it. All in all, a very clean Para mod. It too is one of my favorites.

The 2 blade guns at the top were ordered as blades. They're on pinned chassis in correct pot belied wood, which a blade rifle was never made on pinned rifles, but you could order it set up that way from the importer at one time, when everybody had a lot of options. Then the Chinese ban came along and ruined everything. Although now some commercial models are sought after by collectors and worth Russian money. Paratroopers were up there at one time, now they're only a little more than a run of the mill rifle. The top blade one was NIB with all the accessories when I scarfed it up.  PAX
