Yugo mod question 922

I can't search right now, so sorry if this has been covered!

If I:

Chop a yugo,  replace the stock, handguard, and mag, with US made, is the rifle compliant.  I am wondering if I need an extra part due to the original muzzle attachment. Any help is appreciated!

If you chop the launcher you should be OK.

From my very limited know-how, as long as you've got 5 US made parts in the gun itself you're good to go.

While you are basically correct Bulldog-03, in that replacing 5 compliance parts would make him good to go, he does not necessarily have to replace 5 parts even though he has 15 parts in his count having a Yugo. If he does as he asked about and permanently cuts off the GL and re-crowns the barrel he has removed 1 922r regulated part thus reducing his count from 15 to 14. He therefore really now only needs 4 parts to be compliant. The stock, HG, and mag comprise those 4 parts so he would be compliant.
