Russia to Destroy 4 Million Guns

Said they are destroying 4 out of 16 million obsolete or surplus?  I cannot believe they would actually destroy anything that could  make them money. Or maybe they just say they are gonna do it, and flood the black market? Somehow I cannot take much of a statement from Russians about their weapons and such at face value. Probably something to pat themselves on the back.  But maybe I will hold onto those Russian rifles just a little bit longer.... $$$

I do eventually see a stateside corporation buying the tooling for them and starting production.

Grr, did you see the SKS trigger groups, and bolt carriers that are going to be destroyed.  You know how hard it is to find a trigger group by itself?

That's exactly what I was thinking. There had to be a ton of money just sitting in that little box of parts! Trigger groups are regularly $100+ these days.

If they're really going to destroy the sks's, i'll probably have to stockpile a few just to be on the safe side for now. This is from a canadian standpoint where as I'm picking them up for under $200.
