Is Norinco 7.62 x 39 Silver box ammo worth anything or ??
« on: May 17, 2012, 04:00:18 PM »
Got a couple boxes today, 20 rounds per box, silver box, lead core, steel case.  Does it have any value for selling or should I just shoot it up?

nothing special about it as far as i know. saw some at the gunshop a year or so ago. Think it was going for the same price as wolf and might have even been a little cheaper.

Only has added value if it is the older steel core.

I had some from factory 71 1989 year of manufacture,
that had a lead core with a solid copper jacket.
That may be worth a bit more to you or a friend if you go to a range
that doesn't allow steel jackets.
Just a thought.

Shoot it up

It's the copper jacketed lead core, I shall send it all downrange...lol.
I've got, well let's say a lot, M67, no need to start getting confused with too many different things sitting around.
Thanks, gents, for the info, it's appreciated.

The norinco 7,62x39 ammo is more accurate in the norinco sks.  They also say the 45acp norinco ammo was good too.

Gave one box of 20 to a good friend, the other one goes in the 'archives' of gun stuff so that I can, at some point, refind it and say, "what the hell am I saving this for?"
