CTD separate warehouses, separate shipping

I was about to place an order with CTD. I've bought from them several times before and got decent deals. I can't believe what I ran into. They wanted to charge me several unique shipping fees, because several of the items were stored at different warehouses. Come to find out, they have little icons for the specific warehouse that the item is in, and if you want to avoid this, you have to play a game of eliminating items from your cart until they're all coming from the same warehouse. Some items are only in one warehouse.

Terrible business model. It's not the customer's problem that they have too many warehouses. $26 shipping for a $38 order? I emptied my cart, they lost my business.

Try living in Texas and ordering from them, get ripped-off on the shipping and then pay sales tax on top of that. Needless to say I stopped doing business with them a long time ago.

I stopped doing business with them in 2008. :x

I have no intention of ever buying ammo from them.

I was going to buy a few of the new Tapco "smooth side" AK mags to do some torture testing. I likr that they finally ditched the awful Intrafuse mag casting. Now they need to make them in 5.45 and .223.

Most of the stuff i order is in their D-FW warehouse, arrives in less than 24 hours with standard shipping. Ive ordered a wide variety of stuff from them in the past and havent had any problems with them. Sure they may have got alittle out of hand in '08 but so did everyone who sold guns/gear/ammo, its called supply and demand, and its the base of our economic system, strap in cause we have another election year scare ahead of us so buy now or dont complain about being fleaced. I think they have a D-FW warehouse and one in lousiana, so all my orders arrive quick.
