SURVIVOR'S SKS BOARDS OCTOBER 2012 SHOOT IS A GO!

 All right guys, the October 2102 SHOOT is ON!

 The dates are October 19-21, 2012   at the 700 Whitt Road, Clewiston location, the HCSO range.

  Fees will be $15 for the whole weekend; this will include your range fee, campsite, competitions and classes, raffle entry, and all meals; As always, we will be doing a food list, so look for that thread for what to bring.

   This  time out we will be doing hickory smoked ribs and turkey , along with all the usual Southern side dishes- cornbread, baked beans, the works. 8)

  We will be doing a Friday afternoon arrival, with the defensive pistol class starting at 3:00 PM; the guys who did it last time really enjoyed it, and I am happy to offer it; this year we will be doing cover drills and discretionary shooting.

   Friday night will be chili for dinner, and the Movie Under The Stars after the campfire social; this year, since it's 2012, we are going with an "end of the world" theme for the film..... :shock:

   Saturday will be a nice long range day, starting at around 0800, with lots of open range, and the comps; I know there a few scores to be settled on the pistol contest, and on the rifle comp we will once again test the bulletproof capabilities of the duct tape used to seal the exploding targets. :lol:

  Then it's the BIG banquet, followed by the awards and the campfire, which is always a good time. 8)
 
  Sunday it's the breakfast spread, followed by the cleanup, and then we all head out.

Thank you for picking that weekend. It would have been hard to miss Halloween with the first born. I think I may have been single if that happened.

If there are ribs, you know I'll be there.  :lol:

I'm in, though I can't say for sure if we can make it out for the Friday class, it all depends on my brother and nephew's work schedule. 

I'll also see if I can bring a few friends to set up camp right beside Thunderdome so Camp Three Bears may be bigger than usual this time around.

 Yes, there WILL BE T -SHIRTS, thanks for reminding me; I am working on that now;

 We are looking at black and possibly gray/ash or OD Green, with the regular logo on the left chest and large back print with the logo and dates, and maybe "End Of The World Shoot 2012" or something similar on the back.... 8)

Sounds good. I'll get started stocking up on more zombie targets and blood spatter packs.
