A big "watch out" for Jack Ross Ammunition

Ordered 1,000 rounds of 9mm at the end of March of this year; yeah, over three months ago.  I've exchanged any number of emails and phone calls with them trying to find out what the hell is going on as I still don't have the ammo.

Spoke to them again today and was informed, cheerily I might add, that if I was "lucky" I should be seeing my order show up at my door sometime in the next few weeks.

Four months?!  I'm a patient sort, I really am.  The "deal" was good, it wasn't a screamin' one, but it was good.  Or it WOULD have been good if they were able to make what they sell.

So, a BIG warning, they won't commit, they don't deliver, and if you have any plans to actually shoot what you order from them you'd be best to think twice.  Yup, I'm frustrated...

I want the ammo, I know how to scream but the poor gal answering the phone is just doing her job and it didn't seem right to behave like a pigeon and make her the statue...

At this point it's "in for a penny, in for a pound".  I did, however, want to more or less "alert" the rest of you as to what's happened.  I figure if being patient and reasonable doesn't work that going ballistic is REALLY gonna slow things down.  It'll be the last time I ever do business with these folks, that's for sure; particularly when I look at how well my orders have been taken care of by people like Dunn's, AIM, J&G, etc., etc.

Caveat Emptor...

They're reloading the ammo themselves if I remember correctly... but still, I think they quote their time at two months, not four. 

I guess you're saving about 5 cents a round... is it worth the wait for that?

Not really, but if we're down to the short strokes in terms of time I've already made the "investment", might as well see it through.  In addition to being sorta patient I guess I can be stubborn, too... :x
