I live in the North DFW, TX area. I am thinking if I get the firing pin, I would drop the rifle off and let you machine the bolt face as per your video-----might as well. Is it possible to drop the weapon off at your shop? Thanks

maloy, what do you mean it doesn't make a difference? Shouldn't it be left up to us as to advising him about bringing his gun by?

Will Beararms, sure! We're here 9 to 5 M-F so feel free to come out for a visit. If all you need is FP KIt Inst. we can do it while your here. And you can even step out back and give it a try. Or, I'll be in Big-D the 16th and could meet you and save you the trip.

If you feed it junk ammo, why should you expect filet mignon results?

Thanks Murray. I would just as soon bring it by. It will give me a chance to check out some of the public waterfowl hunting areas while I am up in the area. ( My name is Will Beararms and I am a hopeless duckaholic. ) I live in Frisco so I am not far from you. I am setting this one up for my youngest son. I want it to be safe for generations to come.

Murray, I was only saying said that it will not make a difference in shooting Berdan or boxer primed. That was the question. I didn't refer to not getting one of your pins. So I apologize if you thought I was referring that it doesn't matter if he has one of your pins or not. So I guess my answer was too short and open for being misunderstood.

Just to let you know, two of mine have your pins and retainers.

Thanks maloy! Guess it was me that was mistaken.

But there are cases where it does make a difference. If the hammer spring has been in the gun for 40 to 50 years and maybe took a set, or if a previous owner shortened it to try for a better tr pull, or if someone has employed a Wolff 27.5 lb hammer spring, misfires with the Berdan primed stuff can begin to happen. But we have a cure for that. We had Wolff make us some 31 lb hammer springs, and customers are reporting great success at stopping misfires. (our testing proved the same) It still allows a better felt tr pull than the factory original 34 lb spring, but ignites any and all ammo successfully.  8)

Will, not a duck hunter myself, but if my son happens to be here when you visit, the 2 of you are liable to end up on the shores of our little 6 acre lake at least dreaming of next season.

Just ordered one of your firing pins and an extra spring to go in my girlfriend's new Yugo SKS. Despite a good cleaning, her firing pin jams, tight. Seems to follow exactly what you showed in that one video. Have great confidence your product will solve her problem.
The pin in my Yugo is functioning just fine, but once I see hers in action I'll likely be ordering your pin for my rifle also.
