What does this have to do with C&R?

 Very interesting; I am guessing it's a light-shock luminous thing as opposed to self -illuminating?

  Also, in  the day time, will it catch the light the way the regular fiber -optic  sight posts do?

Hello,

It absorbs light and spits it back out, yep.  No Tritium.  That stuff is radioactive and I don't trust the capsules not to bust the way I've seen some folks use their Mosins!

I do not know what would happen if one should inhale Tritium, either, but don't want to find out.

In the daytime, it acts just like the standard green sight, yessir!

Regards,

Josh

 Nice; and guys, if you're not aware of it, Josh has a vendor forum here;

 Take a scroll down the home page to Retail And Vendors, and you will find the Smith Sights vendor forum; there you can see a variety of products that Josh offers; they are well made, and tailored to the needs of the C & R shooter, with a special eye toward the Mosin-Nagants......

 Check his forum out, and give him a try. 8)
