keep the good fight and get better.

Leukemia= one of the reasons i have been a blood donor since sept 1961. in the last year i switched to being a platelet doner. these people fighting Leukemia and other stuff need blood donations to fight this.

You've been at it longer than Ive been alive, but I'm a donor too.
 In fact I just scheduled a platlet donation for next week.

Its a good way to help people, and it costs nothing

Gman, glad to hear your doing better. 

Wish I could give blood, but the Red Cross said I've been out of country for to long.  Guess I got cooties.

Oh man chemo is a slog.   And here I thought maybe you were just kickin back and enjoying life.  Hang in, it does get better.  We'll be thinking of ya.

Gman, +1 for all the above.  Sheepdog might be on to something, rumor has it that cosmoline smell helps the chemo do a better job.

Got good news to share with you folks. The G Man is gonna be OK! (and I quote...)

As for me, not only am I in a "deep and complete remission" but my Doc says I have a clinical age of 55.  Not bad for a 70 year old fart!  There will be a bit more chemo to enforce the remission but I'm getting stronger every day so should be able to handle the low doses pretty much in stride.
 
All good news and as far as I'm concerned this battle has been won and all that is left are mop up ops.

I spoke with Tom yesterday. He is doing supremely well. He is on the mend, Still gets tired later in the day, but HELL FIRE, so do I, and I haven't been through what he has. AND he's older them me. See you soon my friend. We have video to make of the G9/A.
