What do you guys know about the Arsenal SLR-105R?  Any good?  The reason I ask is that someone offered to trade me one for my Saiga

It's Arsenal and therefore quality. I think (not sure of this) that the SLR series of rifles are stamped, but even so that would be a steal on your side. There is no way I'd pass that up.

Arsenal makes excellent rifles, end of story. However, the SLR-105R uses 5.45x39 ammo. 5.45 ammo is not easy to find (around here anyway). You may want to consider that before you trade.

Well, it's a done deal and my SLR is on it's way.  I found out the person I was trading is a woman!  A pleasant surprise :D  SHe also has an AR that she spoke of...

Is there any way to remove the cap from the muzzle threads on this?
