Eventually a loved one will succumb regardless. 20 months into this and we still have a 99% survival rate of those infected.  But we act like 1/4 of the population is in huge funeral pyres.

My problem with all of this is you cannot trust at face value anything the govt and anyone repeating them says. They have been proven to be lying all through this, not conspiracy theory 'proven', but being outed publicly cooking statistic reports, and lying about the 'crisis' in multiple ways.  Which of course plays right into the underground disinformation effort, so you get false perceptions from all sides.   Treat this like a real SHTF scenario, use your eyes and good judgment, and don't just follow advice because it's voiced by Morgan Freeman or echoes what you want to hear.

Experience is the hardest kind of teacher, it gives the test 1st and the lesson after.

Courage is knowing it may hurt and doing it anyway.
Stupidity is the same.
This is why life is so hard.

There’s several vaccines and wide spread use and access to them. It’s time for the government to get out of the COVID 19 business and let the private health networks deal with it with their patients.  It’s obvious that there are way more important things they need to focus on like F-ing up everything else in this country and over seas.

I'm beginning to think this virus was so well engineered that there is NO defense from it.
Maybe you die, maybe you don't. Maybe you'll be a long haul victim.
Vaccinated, unvaccinated, previously infected, soon to be infected.
Everyone is susceptible to reinfection from a new variant several months after thought to be safe.
Maybe there will be treatment to prevent or cure but if the government did nothing society would crumble.
Eventually a loved one will succumb to the virus, no way out of it.
All actions to date are feel good efforts.  Nothing more.
Make good use of your Friday and Saturday nights while you can.

I had blood poisoning from a pitch fork that went threw my foot when I was 5...survived pneumonia when I was 21...never had a flu shot...but recently I got the two pfizer shots (which only gave me a sore arm for a day)... because I have grand kids and familiy's persistance... was tested negative twice...because I was near someone who tested positive once(they survived)...will be celibrating my 36 bday for the second time, real soon...and donated blood in arkansas last april...considering this sith started 20 months ago...I still believe in my immune system.
