That looks great grouster! Like if an sks and mp5 got together and had a baby  Is it me or is did you shorten up the front end? (the handguard looks very short, but I cant be sure from the pic) That looks like some interesting work! |

Thanks, old scope mount has been replace with choate mount, new scope is coming with dragunov reticle BullyHouse, that brake was custom made from Rick ( also a board member, he makes all kind of brake for sks) |

Yeah, if you want a dragunov, get the Choate stock rather then the ATI! I had the ATI a long time ago and did not like it....Here are pics of my two bubs: Wow, great job. That's got to be one of the best modified SKS I have seen yet. The Choate is definitely the way to go... even though I wound up buying the ATI for cost reasons. Particularly, the way the handguard fits with the stock is much better looking than the ATI. Plus, it has a more rounded (and to me, more pleasing) look. FWIW, the ATI required quite a bit of finishing to remove the sharp bits left over from molding, one of which actually cut me while I was doing it. I'll post a photo of mine when I can get a better photo, although my avatar has a small version of it already. |
