No it is a slamfire.
Do a board search for slamfire and you will learn all about it  8)

Well it's a machinegun shoot, so I doubt it's a slamfire.

I would imagine since it's a "machine gun shoot" that it is a full auto SKS.

If I had to guess, I'd say that was a bump fire.  There's actually 3 shots of it.  There is another post around discussing it as well.

Just remember board rules about discussing FOOL OTTO.

What are the board rules for discussion on this I couldn't find them?  Am I correct, a fa sks was never manufactured so the guy shooting that at the machine gun shoot is risking the wrong somebody noticing he's shooting an illegally altered weapon?
2 SKS-M's, 1's a shooter & 1's unfired (pm me if you wanna buy the unfired M, will let go for the right price)

+1, any weapon can be changed the thing is you BETTER have a stamp for it from BATF......

The rules state that you can not discuss any illegal activity, such as modifying or how to, that is a big no no here, from what I understand you have to get the stamp before you actually do anything. Do not quote me on this, since I am not interested in doing any mods I am not sure about this statement.

Believe that I've read somewhere that some were made by the Chinese... probably none of these ever made it here to the US though.

According to the SKS collector's only book, there was a Yugoslavian FA made.  I have never seen one in person and probably never will.

The SKS in the video is FA.  And correct me if I'm wrong, but a Class 7 Manufacture license holder used to be able to convert semi-auto to full-auto, but that was all stopped in 1986 when the gov. said you cant make any more new machine guns.  There are legally converted FA SKS out there that were converted and registered before 1986.

Here is another FA SKS on Youtube http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SYDEI1arGZ8

The kicker is on this one it's a Yugo. However I suppose that it is possible it was imported before 86 just statistically not as likely.  Since the video is from Knob Creek we can assume it is legal...somehow.

I posted this once before and that''s about as far as we got.
