Chicom stock
« on: January 20, 2009, 08:26:32 PM »
I hear you are the guy to ask about stocks. I have a chinese that has a crack that goes down the left side. The action fits very tight in the stock. I dont think the crack is enough to effect accuracy or anything it is just annoying knowing it is there. Anyway do you currently have any chinese stocks that are realtively inexpensive? i am not looking for anything that has been refinished as i am leaning towards redoing the color anyway.

Thanks

Jim

Hi,

Cracks are annoying.  With the SKS recoil being as nominal as it is very few present any real problem.  If you can open it up somehow you might try dropping just a bit of superglue in it so it doesn't get worse.

I don't sell unfinished stocks.  My business is refinishing so my inventory is constantly being refinished and sold.
