WASR 10 SAR 1 difference
« on: May 24, 2009, 01:40:14 PM »
What is the difference between a  SAR 1 and a WASR 10? I can't find anything on the net on this.

I think the sar-1 is a dang good AK!

I would not have a problem owning one, but the wasr-10 is not so...hot...to me.
I had one and was not impressed so I sold it to a local Leo and built a 'romy g' and love it to death.

around my AO sar-1's are going for $550-$750 private sale and I have seen the occasional sar-1 for $800+, which is outrageous even in these times to me!

the highest I've seen is $1k...

Wow I got my SAR 1 for 330 back in the good old days in 2001. This rifle has never failed to shoot. It has taken every round I have put in it. Now I need to shoot my AES 10 B RPK.

My SAR 1 runs circles around my friends WASR 10. It will eat whatever ammo I put into it and I have yet to find a mag that wouldnt feed right. My friends jams if he uses hollow points. And his gun wont work with some mags. I traded a dirt bike that I got for 300 bucks for my SAR 1.

My first WASR10 likes FMJ and HP. Haven't had a jam yet.

I have yet to shoot my new WASR10, but I bet its just as good as my first one.

Sounds like a good deal to me for someone who wants an AKM.  Good rifles are the SAR series.

At that price, someone needs to buy all four!  Is this a new ad or one from several years ago?

How do you get ahold of them at BW? Thier webpage is terrible! I can't even find a phone number. How can the run an online business like that? Anyone here buy from them? I did write to them however and asked them to hold one for me.

I can't believe they are that cheap! What a deal. I got mine for $330 in 2002. Never had a failure to fire with my rifle. One nice AK.

I guess they woke up. The price is $650.00 now.
I bought a SAR-1 in 2001. They were $279 at the time.
