racer32 i bet $5 you are right. century put a very small import stamp under the barrel, so small it almost looks like a scratch.
Mike take a close look at the stock. looks to me like it has been refinished and maybe bleached to take the staining out.the hand guard looks unfinished. I did that to a mis matched romy i picked up last year for $75 and it came out looking something like that. Mike hope the wife is doing better.
