I've been looking for an Albanian SKS for some time now.  I finally found one on Gun Broker with a very nice Buy it Now Price.  I contacted the seller and by his description, I think I found a good one.  I did the Buy it Now and have already sent my FFL and payment.   Cool  This will go nicely with my Russian, my Yugo, and my 2 Chinese SKS's. Still need a Romanian.

Congrats Bullwinkle!  Welcome to SKSBoards!  I was watching that one and was waiting for some additional pictures from the seller when you hit the BIN!  Glad it went to a (new) board member.

Remember pictures & story are mandatory!  Cool

I received it today. It needed a good cleaning, but other than that it appears to be in great shape, with the normal dings to the wood. If possible I may redo the wood at some point, but that remains to be seen. Bore looks great, and I could find no rust or defects at all.  I can't seem to post pics here, but I'll keep trying. So far 1 Russian, 1 Yugo, 1 Chinese and 1 Chinese Paratrooper, and now an Alby. Next a Romanian, and then my dream is for an East German, since I spent 12 years in West Berlin, from 1974 to 1986. To get an East German one would be my ultimate treasure.  Take Care.

A good collection you have going there!

For pics, maybe this will help - http://www.sksboards.com/smf/index.php?topic=36039.0

Except I don't use Photobucket.  The pics from here are faster to upload in the threads and they don't go away after 90 days.

I had a chance to take my new toy to the range this last week.  Cool It was extremely hot here in San Antonio and I had cosmoline coming out of the wood and some of the metal joints. It shot very well indeed and I'm pleased with my new addition. I'm still having issues doing the photos, sorry.   Rolling Eyes
